Huawei EchoLife HG8245H is an advanced intelligent routing-type Optical Network Terminal (ONT) from Huawei’s FTTH product line. It uses GPON technology to provide ultra-broadband access, and features 4 GE ports, 2 POTS ports, 1 USB port, and one 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi port. The device offers smart Wi-Fi coverage, advanced interconnection capabilities such as SIP/H.248 auto-negotiation and “any port any service”, as well as smart O&M functions including IPTV video quality diagnostics and rogue ONT detection and isolation. Compared to the older HG8245 model, the HG8245H introduces Gigabit Ethernet ports instead of Fast Ethernet, making it better suited for the demands of modern optical network speeds.
